When you go that deep with the outside dlr hook, are you not worried about the kneebar?

While mantaining control on my opponents sleeve, there is very little danger of a knee bar attack. If the grip is somehow broke, I must immediately transfer my control point to another grip. As with all De La Riva guard techs, constantly attacking my opponent's base is the key to success.
Great video! Even DLR guard is very popular, I havent seen many really good instructionals of it. Waiting your take on standing opponent!

Really love playing DLR with the x control like shown here....I really just got into DLR deep into my purple belt and still consider myself a novice; but these techniques I've hit with a high success rate
Will you be addressing any techs when the opponent decides to stand?
