In this, I think you're being unfair. There are tonnes of way more successful people than I but if I ever felt disrespected by them, their relative station wouldn't deter me from saying something to them.

Dana was the only person in high level sports who would ever say such a bastard thing about the greatest in a sport, no one in mma deserves more respect than Fedor. No one, fuck you for defending a guy like Dana, that guy had every right to call Dana out. He asked Dana to take the man route, not be a fucking scared person and talk to the twitter but to actual saying it to the guys' face. Narly Persian dude, disliking Dana doesn't make your opinion more weighted than others. Fedor is a great fighter and right now the greatest of all time, but I don't think he has done THE MOST for the sport. It's all subjective, but in general the progress of the sport was pushed by fighters like Tito, chuck, forrest, Randy, GSP, BJ. These huge stars, most notably the first two, really brought the sport into the mainstream light. Fedor did nothing of the sort. He doesn't do interviews, media days, or try to get his message across. I doubt anyone has a problem with that, im just saying that's his personal preference. Fedor brought a unique persona to MMA that hadn't been seen in the sport before and established his reign for 5 years. The people who are most responsible for the growth and progression of the sport are the fighters I mentioned and Dana. These guys are the ones responsibile for getting MMA legalized in most states. They're responsible for getting the fight highlights on sportscenter. I could go on, but I think I've made my point clear.
