After Rich Franklin's destruction of Nathan Quarry the UFC is in dire need of a middleweight fighter who can mount a serious challenge for the title.

Even though the name David Loiseau has been thrown around I say Zuffa should look no further than another Nathan: Nate "The Great" Marquardt!

I spoke to the seven-time "King of Pancrase" recently and asked him about being underappreciated, the doping reproaches and his future in the UFC middleweight division.

In my opinion there are basically only three people (currently in the UFC) who are worthy of getting a shot at the champ: Marquardt, Loiseau and Horn. Franklin vs. Riggs would be nice as well but the "Diesel" first has to rack up a couple of W's again.
