Exercise of the Month: Flat Bench Dumbbell Press

There  seems to be two schools in this:

90 degree elbows vs toching the shoulders with the dumbbells.

I was going to comment on this earlier. The guy in the first photo is not doing a traditional dumbbell press. Typical steroid clown. It's a hybrid fly/press movement.

Do it so the weight is perpendicular to your chest. Phone Post

So elbows literally tucked in. Interesting. That's doesn't diminish the effectiveness of the exercise?

Dumbells touching chest, fuller motion and technically a better exercise.

Dumbells parallel to the floor, saves your shoulders.

Yes? No?
