While some elaboration or commentary would have been nice OP, I have to wholeheartedly agree.
There just isn't a real upside to religion that can't be obtained elsewhere or in a much healthier manner.
Some are better (less invasive, destructive, etc) but none are the best option for humanity.

I have a friend, a Christian lady here in Honolulu, who has rescued and adopted two Chinese kids from orphanages in China...and she's not even Chinese btw. These kids were abandoned by their parents and in orphanages because they have birth defects. One has a major cleft palate, and the other was born without one of his hands.
I know of this other nameless Christian organization that has rescued and found homes for FORTY THOUSAND Chinese babies.
But you know, FUCK Christians. What have you done today? Gave five bucks to a homeless drug addict? And now you feel like a hero? Fuck that shit.
