UFC interim featherweight champion Conor McGregor and long time WEC and UFC star Urijah Faber are opposing coaches on season 22 of The Ultimate Fighter. The pair have maintained a steady stream of bickering, most recently over sartorial issues.

Last week McGregor, who has been called Ireland's top style icon for men, appears in a seemingly endless supply of custom made suits. Last week McGregor said Faber "looks like a 15-year-old skateboarder," adding "I told him he needs to dress his age."
This week 'The California Kid' struck back.
"Let's be honest here," said Faber to MMAjunkie. "Conor shows up every day, to practice, to everything, in the Vegas desert, in the full get up. And he's got armpit sweat coming out to here [gesturing across his back], at one point he has an ass crack full of sweaty ass, he rips his pants at one point."
"I'm like, bro, what's up with the outfit. He's like ‘I'm all business.' I'm like, ‘dude, you're like the Tapout guy at the bar who thinks he's a fighter because he's wearing Tapout.' In this business world, Conor in a suit and tie is like the poser wearing Tapout. I had to educate him about business. Look at Dana White, Dana White will not put on a suit unless he's forced to."
The Ultimate Fighter 22 airs new episodes Wednesdays on FS1
Faber is spot on regarding wearing a suit in the desert. Living in Australia come summer time you don't see many 3 piece suits getting around. Any chance you get you're wearing shorts, t shirt etc
Personality and character wise, Connor is becoming a parody of himself. Wearing suits to the gym at any time, let alone in the Vegas desert? It's just getting a bit ridiculous
Yeah, he's crazy to be wearing a three piece suit to the gym, but I guess he has an image to create. If Mendes hadn't already taken the nickname, we would be hearing about "Money" McGregor right now.
Then again, we're judging him and he's laughing all the way to the bank. For his sake, I hope he either keeps making money off of this image he is pushing, or learns how to put money aside for later. As much as I hate to say it, guys like Bob Sapp (who spend their money wisely) are swimming around in a room of gold coins.

Thing about it is his image and schtick are already horribly played out after just about 2 years....
he is already a caricature of himself at this point, its only still funny to a % of fans the rest are already yawning - too much too soon
three piece suits in Vegas in August and talking about others fighters wives panties?
Faber has made Connor look dumb in every verbal exchange, he also seems like a respectful guy whereas Connor comes across as a selfish, egotistical cunt.
lol I like both guys as fighters but Faber is spot on. And I'm probably the huge minority but all this Chael, McGregor, WWE style trash talking has kind of made me lose interest.
It was one thing wen they forced the drama on TUF and it was like "meh it's reality TV you have to expect it." But now it's every fucking day there's tmz drama and it's just incredibly lame. The fighters and fights used to sell me on getting fights. Now it's just all transparent as fuck and old

Agreed conor lost me when he started calling mendez short which is a joke obviously when conor is no where near tall.
Apparently dodging 155 for easier fights at 145 makes him a honourable martial artist. Imagine the gracie family had this mentality... ultimate fighting championship not ultimate money championship
