I've just posted my waaaaaayyy overdue review of Fabio Gurgel's "Brazilian Jiu Jitsu Basic and Advanced Techniques" at MA Reviews.

Helpful review. These books are "must have" for me, since my instructor studied under Gurgel. I could use them as a "pre-populated" notebook!
(I have definitely come around to thinking that face to face instruction is really the way to go, books and DVD's let us see stuff, but it's hard to learn that way and even harder to put that stuff into context.)
