lol, yeah so people like Gabi (who several people have straight up said HAS admitted to taking roids back in Brazil) are just clean as a whistle. I like Fabio and Jacare, but they gotta get outta here with that BS. Many brazilians juice and have zero problems saying it, just admit it and say its something that needs to be regulated for all for the betterment of sport jiu jitsu period.
yeah loads of Brazilians are on the juice. Plastic surgeries and juice. That's the Brazilian way.

she seems knowledgeable so I doubt its just a persona thing, but remember she did it from bodybuilding and not for competing in sport bjj tournies.
Bottom line is that its not illegal in sport bjj tournies, so if people want to do it then so be it. But lets not pretend it does not happen (and for sure there are non-brazilians that possibly juice as well, lets be honest). Its just better for the overall health of competitors if a stand was actually taken. And for all the ridiculous talk of somehow making it into a Olympic sport one day (not a chance in hell), having rampant steroid use w zero policy regarding them is s surefire way to kill ANY type of hope for it.

All they would have to do to look like the good guys is say "Yeah Caio brings up a great point. We denounce steroids and anyone who uses them. They're bad for your health and bad for the sport."
Instead they're using 3rd grade logic like "ohh he can't prove it so he should be quiet" and "he's a baby for talking about steroids".
