David Haye at his peak had the fastest hands and head movement ever in the HW division. Faster than RJJR even, in that he carried the muscle better than Roy. But hes like RJJR in that hes actually a cruiserweight parading around as a HW. So in that sense you can add any fast MW/CW that’s moved up to HW to the list (Billy Conn for example).
Out of ACTUAL top tier heavyweights, its between Ali and Holmes.

Yea i qas hesitant to add haye and rjj. But they both won titles at hw, thats why i added them.
Its easily Roy Jones, not even a contest unless you want to exclude him since he only had 1 fight there.

joe louis is extremely efficient. amazing biomechanics. patterson was very fast though.

Floyd Patterson moved up to HW from LHW and wouldn’t be big enough to fight at HW today. He’d be a LHW or a CW.

Or just very heavy for a super middleweight. Byrd was too slick for the big guys.

He’s the fastest heavyweight right now that’s good. Also rarely off balance, his punches are so clean - he doesn’t just throw a couple super fast explosive punches like a Tua. Parker throws loooong combos and maintains his speed through the entire fight, too.

Ive been going back and watching parker fights. Coming from Australia with maori blood, ill be cheering him on. What you say is true. When he got them hurt. He plants his feet and doesn't really throw his hips and body into the punches. Just crisp strikes and keep on them like a blood hound.
