bryanand - What round did BJ finish Sherk, was it the 3rd or 4th? There was like no time left either way.
I believe that was a ref stoppage between rounds. 



It was the 3rd, but there were still 2 more rounds left in the fight.

It would be near impossible to find the fight that lastest the longest before a KO (especially since some of the older fights had no time limits), but what about the closest KO to the final bell, e.g 4.59 in round 3 or 5?

Usually the point is to get the fight finished as quick as possible.  just saying.

It looked like most of them were just rushing in to help their fighter.  Which is a problem when you have that many, looks like too much testosterone in a ring at once.

Wasn't that 1 second? The ref put his hand up about 1 second after the bell.

Gabriel Gonzaga knocked out Kevin Jordan at 4:39 or the third round, UFC 56.

Shonnie Carter's HL KO of Matt Serra was at 4:51 of the third round.
