Favorite food for losing weight

What is your favorite food for when you are on a strict fight diet?

honestly I think mine is celery or brocolli

 I'm not a fighter, but celery is great for my money shot scenes.

 Salmon all day long. Yes it is a fatty fish, but those are good omega fats/oils.

 also was wondering if any vegan fighters had advice on protein, I've been using a soy protein(btw I love the taste of meat and cheese but am giving the vegan thing a try)

 any decent alternatives, because this isnt the first time I've heard that

 Tuna, Lowfat low sodium Vegtable soup, Mangos and sunflower seeds, That is what I have been eating for three weeks. Lost 15 pounds. I weighed 208 when called for a fight 3 weeks ago. I weigh 194 1/2 lbs right now. Need to weigh 190 for weigh ins on Thursday night. I'll get the last 4 or 5 lbs off in the suana thursday

I usually get a big bar of chocolate and cut it into 4 parts. I have a part a day while I water load. That way you can eat in moderation and still feel happy about your food.

whats the point in eating rabbit food? We are not rabbits!!!!

I usually cut about 35 pounds for a fight and its always done me well. Give it a try for your up coming fights.

Jack you are 100% right, but I can't do it. I love eating!!! I am bad about having sweets and then going on a binge. The only way to stop that is to limit myself to the diet I listed above.



The mangos help my sweet tooth  and the sunflower seads are a substitute for puting tons of other food in my mouth. I'm never a fat guy because I work out a lot, but I usually walk at 210 and fight at 185/190. I have a super speedy metabolism so I eat like crazy and still stay at 210 (I'm 6 tall).

 

yeah I did mate, you looked very good in the fight if I remember correctly. You are the guy that refused to use a groin guard because "you prefered fighting bareback" aren't you?

 Nope I definitely had a groin guard haha I wanna come fight in the UK again tho, because that was a hell of an event!

Italians Copy Greeks -  check out pea, rice or hemp protein as a vegan alternative to soy

<br /><br /> if you have a sweet tooth you can do your water load with coca cola. 10 litres from 5 days out, 10 litres 4 days out, 2-3 litres from 2days out, nothing 24 hours from the weigh ins then you should lose up to 25 pounds this way.

<br /><br /> cutting weight is only the final part of the puzzle though. you need a balanced diet for your entire training camp to keep healthy. for every bit of junk food youn eat make sure you have a salad with it.
