The final Nielsen ratings are in and 5.46 million viewers tuned in Saturday to watch Strikeforce and M-1 Global's main event between Fedor Emelianenko vs. Brett Rogers from 11:00 pm to 11:15 pm ET on CBS, FanHouse has learned.

The entire Saturday Night Fights broadcast, which includes Jake Shields vs. Jason "Mayhem" Miller, Gegard Mousasi vs. Rameau Thierry Sokoudjou and Fabricio Werdum vs. Antonio Silva, earned the network 4.042 million viewers from 9:00 pm to 11:24 pm ET.

While CBS still fell short to Fox and ABC, the channel was a big winner in the 18-34 demographic. Saturday Night Fights was the top program for both adults and men 18-34, beating out college football and was an improvement for CBS of 283% on its season-to-date average.

thanks card

That's about 5.3 million more Americans than have seen any of Fedor's other fights.  Good news for Strikeforce.

Anyone know where this ranks up in most watched MMA events in history?

Kimbo Slice vs. James Thompson - 7.281

Tito Ortiz vs. Ken Shamrock - 6.524

Kimbo Slice vs. Seth Petruzelli - 6.451

Kimbo Slice vs. Roy Nelson - 6.1

???

Fedor vs. Rogers - 5.46

Im willing to bet the 7.2 that watched Kimbo were mostly people that dont watch usually, just heard the hype about Kimbo. Im willing to bet that the Fedor Rogers fight pulled 5.4 fans from the same cirle, which means now most people who just watch big fights now know about the great Fedor.

Regardless, those are some really good numbers for Strikeforce.

Fedor has arrived.

 This is FUCKING AWESOME NEWS!!!!!

That is good. i hope strikeforce sticks around.

It was the 9th most watched MMA event in history.

Rogers would spank that ass.

With an improvement for CBS of 283% on its season-to-date average maybe it will mean more free fights on CBS.Hope so.

Hopefully, the next card will top the Kimbo/JT bout.

Good job, Strikeforce. Bring Fedor to SJ!!!!

How many of that was just people flipping through the channels? Maybe someone can explain. 5.46 million watched for 15 minutes or tuned in for like 2 secs and changed the channel?

Kind of hard to know huh?

Redneck was correct. Didn't he say 5 million for the main event?

Considering Fedor's not really that well known in N. America outside of hardcore/fringe fans this is a huge success.

Imagine what the #'s will be for the title match against Overeem

for a main event that went up against college football and spike showing UFC fights; this is actually a pretty good number.

Congrats Strikeforce.

TTT for FREE fights.

This is really big considered it was two relative no-names.

Kimbo and Gina are media sensations, period.

Tito and Ken were the first big crossover names in the Zuffa era.

Griffin and Bonnar had an entire season to build up that fight.
