Fedor's contract is very convient...

so its been said that Fedor has a 3 fight contract with strikeforce that runs a year, he also has only 3 fights left on his contract with M-1. couple that with everything Aleksander has publicly said about M-1. could we see Fedor finally join the UFC in a years time?

Why would he go someplace where he is lied about and insulted constantly and obsessively by the president of the promotion?

For less money and more restrictions on his freedom outside the fight?

I just don't see him ever in the UFC.  They burned too many brides this time around with the blatant manipulation of a willing media and grossly dishonest "contract offer" details that had no basis in reality, but Zuffa's possible projections of what Fedor "could potentially make".

It needs to be mentioned that no one has looked at what Aleks' motivation is to come out with these statements and allegations.  It seems like a pretty blatant attempt to win favor with the UFC and generate some interest in signing him.  Whatever his motivation, his comments do not reflect the experience of guys who fight in the UFC where the chief complaint is lack of any flexibility or autonomy.

Frankly, Aleks sounds like he is desperate to work and badly in need of cash.  Sad this guy is wasting so much talent.

Ahhhh, conviet, you say????

Strokes chin thoughtfully while looking skyward, imagining the possibilities

Scott Coker clarified yesterday that Fedor's contract with M1 still has 4 fights left on it.

Fedor works in a convent?

*I just wanted to join the typo feeding frenzy

dana doesn't get to have manopoly over fedor

Holy typos Batman.  I can hardly stand to read this thread.

Zedlepln - Scott Coker clarified yesterday that Fedor's contract with M1 still has 4 fights left on it.
direct quote from Coker in a press release

“Although the deal with Strikeforce is an exclusive one, it’s far from a contract signed in blood as Fedor is currently contractually obligated to fight for Strikeforce for just one year,” said Coker. “Basically it’s three fights over the next year, and we’ll start in the Fall some time…The very first fight that Fedor fights will be on Showtime, and then the roll-out of television from there forward hasn’t been determined 100%, but his first fight will be on Showtime.”

ps sorry bout the title typo, one of those days.

vangor: What do you mean less money? He'd make a lot more money in the UFC than anywhere else. And for why he should fight in the UFC, how about so he can please the fans by fighting the best and not coming off as a punk to millions of people. Fanboys like you probably don't see that, but I bet the average person with a brain.

You sir are a moron just from the way you type I can tell you were not watching Fedor back in the Pride days where he proved many times how fucking good he really is. You can say yes he would make more money in the UFC with that contract but that is only if he wins which I'm not saying he can't beat Brock but to sign a contract where if you lose there goes your money, Not to mention his first time fighting in a cage is against Lesnar who is no easy fight for anyone. Maybe if Dana says he is all about giving the fans what they want to see he can let Brock do one fight in strikeforce which I'm sure strikefore wouldn't mind forking over half the profit to the UFC.
In reality it seems easier for Dana to send Brock to beat Fedor in strikeforce instead of trying to screw over someone who really doesnt have anything to prove in the UFC besides one fight with Lesnar

I'll buy that, if you can show that you chose your workplace (assuming you work) by listening to the opinion of thousands of people who you've never met, and never will meet.

If not, why do you think Fedor owes you and other fans anything?

Youre doing it wrong.
