Once again we gear up for our next challenge, the Fight Club Challenge 4. This event will be held at the Brazilian Jiu-jitsu Fight Club at 6404 Bowness Rd NW, Calgary, on September 12th, 2009.We would like to welcome all fighters from any club to compete to this tournament. Awards will be given to 1st, 2nd and 3rd places, as well as cash prizes to the winners of the absolute divisions. Weight classes will follow the classical FCC format: 159.9 & under, 160-179.9, 180-199.9, 200 & up. The kids will be grouped by age and then divided by weight within their age group.Weigh-ins will be held Friday, September 11, from 6-9 PM at the Brazilian Jiu-jitsu Fight Club, and also on Saturday morning, between 9-10:30 AM for the kids, and 9-12:30 for the adults.The cost for one division (Gi or no-Gi) is $30.00, and for both divisions is $40.00. Please keep in mind that by signing up in your weight division will entitle you to participate in the Absolute division at no extra cost.The Kids will start things off at 11 AM on Saturday morning, followed by the Women's Gi division at 1 PM, then the Men's White-Belt Gi and the Men's Blue-Belt and above. The Gi division will then conclude with the men's Absolute Gi where the winner will be awarded $100.00 cash. The same format will then be followed for the no-Gi divisions starting with the Ladies, then concluding with the Absolute no-Gi and the associated $100.00 cash prize awarded to the winner.
