Fightclub BJJ in Bangkok

I plan on visiting BKK again this year, probably during April, has anyone ever trained BJJ there? It looks like a cool place, shame I missed it during my first visit.

I have a feeling Adam Kayoom (spelling?), an aussie BJJ brown belt teaches there. Can't remember where I read this. Ask on the Australasian forum.

I've trained there a couple of times when I was in Bangkok. There were some VERY good, tough grapplers. The Thai students there were all beginners and didn't roll with me. The guys I rolled with were all foreigners from around the world. The people were very cool and the training was great. I highly recommend it!

Actually, Adam no longer teaches at the BFC. Adam now teaches at the school on Silom until the end of March. At the BFC, I think Alex B, who owns it, is the teacher. He has a very good game.

If you have a chance try and stop by my classes in Bangkok. Check out www.bangkokbjj.com or e-mail me at pdenzau@hotmail.com for any details. Good luck training.

BJJStudent, thank you for the reply.

I will definately stop by. Will I need to bring a Gi with me? It's such a heavy duty thing to pack, I'd prefer to leave it at home.

I'll stick you on MSN, please add me if you get the chance nrallen@hotmail.co.uk

I noticed the Bangkok Fight Club has Muay Thai and BJJ, but classes are held at the same time, would be nice to do somehow train both.

There are gis at the club you can borrow. The MT class is pretty informal, some guys do it for an hour and then do bjj for an hour.

Hey Koga
Sorry I left BKK without saying by, travelling with the family so things got a bit hectic.
Hope to catch you again.

Good to see you again V, hope to visit KL in the new year.

Thanks everyone for all your help, I'll be sure to make time to stop off at both places and any others you can recommend. Hopefully the class times don't clash too often.

When I was walking on Sukhumvit Road during my holiday I saw a guy wearing a Minotauro T-shirt, had I any common sense or a quicker brain I would have asked where he trained, lol.

Thanks BJJ Student, I will definately make an effort to train at your academny, I should have you on my MSN list now.

Anyone who trains at Bangkok Fight Club I should be grateful if you would add me:
