GSP and Anderson Silva...
Two guys who absolutely demolished such powerful champs...or not so powerful champs depending on who is commentating?

I vote for Hermes he has 7 fight and 7 wins this year and all of them he finish them.
GSP hands down. Winning against BJ espcially after the eye poke.
Mirko was unimpressive against Hunt, so there goes that.
Chuck had a great, exciting, and active 06'.
Maybe Chuck, aww fuck it, GSP.
Wes "The Project" Sims!
Diego Sanchez has had a good year.
GSP
Cro Cop
Tito - if he beats Chuck on the 30th
GSP of course. Twas the Year of the Rush
Brandon Vera
Its Fedor every year. He drowns out everyone else's accomplishments.
Surprised it took a couple of pages until someone said JZ... three way race between him, GSP, & CroCop IMO.
Cro-Cop finished everyone, which neither of the others can say, but he also didn't fight the competition of GSP or JZ.
I missed too many fights this year :(
TH
Finally someone else agrees with JZ.
Crocop, kang, the japanese guy that beat him, sp, then GSP
Cro Cop
GSP
GSP, CroCop,A. Silva, and Fedor (in that order)

"LOL@GSP votes
The guy had one major win this year, and one close win.
Those aren't enough fights to qualify as fighter of the year...sorry.
I hate to say it but Tim Sylvia is more deserving of the honor than GSP. He beat Auserrio Silva, he beat Arlovski 2x including a KO and beat Monson.
I would say Cro Cop, Filho and Anderson Silva"
What if Cro Cop beat Nog and Fedor this year?
That's basically what GSP did at WW.
My vote goes to GSP. I don't care if he only fought twice, those two wins are much more impressive than any wins by any other fighter this year.
1st GSP
2nd Silva
3rd Swick
Tie between GSP and CroCop. I will say GSP because I knew CroCop would wreck some shop in the GP. I did not know that GSP was going to dismantle Matt Hughes.
Cro-Cop, then GSP.
GSP or Hughes. Can't give it to Cro Cop for a stellar performance in one tournie.
