Do fighters(UFC) pay for the people they want coming with them to corner them?
Like out of their own pocket ?
Or does UFC pay for flights etc?
Not positive, but pretty sure McCorkle said on a thread he made about the UFC's pay and etc. that the UFC pays for 1 cornerman's flight and hotel room
Hmmm?
For the standard fighter (non main event)
UFC covers hotel, coach airline ticket and $50 per diem for the fighter and ONE corner.
This has been standard since SEG owned UFC.
Editing to clarify: This means that there is hotel room for the fighter and cornerman to share, $50 a piece per day for the fighter and ONE cornerman, and one roundtrip "coach seating" airline ticket for fighter and one corner.
Keep in mind this is the standard for your main card or pre-lim non-main event fighter.

Il take my dog
john joe - i remember wanderlei in germany had his ex-S&C coach Rafael Alejarra sharing his room and Alejarra was just a picture of abject misery all week because it was before wand got his nose / aponea fixed and he snored like a train. But in true brazilian style, alejarra didnt want to pay for a room when there was a free bed available so he stuck it out haha
Jesus,
MY girlfriend snored once when we where on a holiday (not a regular thing) and i booked another room right away. Shit and with her it was kind of endearing.
With Wandie it would just be plane scary....i am betting that shit still hunts him in his sleep.
God always punishes those you are cheapskates in the end lol

Pretty much the same as Cage Warriors. Obviously the higher you progress in the UFC though, the more shit you demand.

It's same deal in NAAFS. Pretty standard for any promotion that's bringing in a fighter from out of state I believe

but aren't there usually at least 2 persons in a fighters corner?
does the fighter pay the room and flight tickets for the 2nd person? or does the team/gym? the 2nd man himself?
The UFC used to pay for the flights and hotel of 2 cornermen. It has changed to one the past year or so. Anything beyond that 1 guy I would image the fighter would offer to pay or if he wants that guy to be there with him.
