UGCTT_Roadkill -  Lost at the end of the 1st round by KO. Sorry guys dropped my hands for just a second and got caught. Learning experience for sure. Phone Post

Shit man, no need to apologize.  Every athlete loses at some point in their career.  Just take a little while to get your brain back in order from the KO and get back out there man.

Was more of a flash KO so my head is good. As soon as I hit the ground I was awake and aware of everything. Sucks because it was right at the bell and I think the 2nd round would have been all me. Oh well trying to get on a card next month and might actually go train some with the guy that beat me over at Jackson's. Phone Post

By the way, I read a thread not too long ago about how when fighters get crazy designs in their hair they seem to lose. I can say from experience there may be something to that. This is how my hair looked last night and it's the first time I've done it.

Hey if you can get some pro-sparring time in at Jackson's man, you should take that opportunity.  When I was playing hockey when I was younger the couple of times during the summer that I got to do some training with a few guys that I knew that were just drafted at the time, and it improved my game more in one week with them then an entire season with my regular team.

Definitely going to try. I've been wanting to go check it out for a while now. Phone Post

Can I get someone to post the pics please Phone Post

I'm on my iPhone or I would. But I can't so.....

Which one are u? Blue shorts? Phone Post

Just saw the hair pics so I know u are in the blue.

U shouldn't have poster here before the fight.

The UG first fight curse is more real than any other curse.

Sucks you lost, but as you said its all a learning experience, as long as your still healthy and not to banged up!

Gd luck on your next scrap! Phone Post

No gassing. My opponent was just a bit stronger than I expected and was little I could do to get away from him. Had it gone to the second round I think it would have been a hell of a fight. Phone Post

After the :07 mark I defend a takedown for a bit, get my own takedown, defend a sub, defend some knees, throw strikes from the inside, and throw a hook at the same time I get dropped by a hook. Where in that do you see gassed? I've always had a goal of competing at 155 because I'm a bit weak at my natural weight of 170. This fight was at 170. After weigh ins I was 180 and he said he was at 193. I literally was just overpowered which was still my fault for not using more technique. I make no excuses for my loss but gassing was definitely not a factor. For the first time my cardio was actually on point.

I have my next fight September 8th against a guy from Dallas. I'm working on some issues I had during this fight now and we'll see what improvements I can make. Phone Post

Not much offense there at all, when youre weak in those clinch situations, you really gotta work hard to get loose/free from your opponent.

"10-secs" signalled the action there

Work on strength and conditioning to get your opponent off you, you didnt have a chance to do anything there, hope you get some change of fortune @155...

I have the utmost respect for anyone that gets in there and fights.  The outcome is inconsequential.

Congrats!

I'm definitely looking into starting a strength program. I've never been a fan of lifting weights or anything like that but always knew I needed it. I have a suspension so won't be able to fight on the 8th. Planning for the end of October or early November so that should give me plenty of time to work on getting my weight down to 155 and start on the strength training.

Thank you everyone for your comments. Phone Post
