Chain wrestling should be illegal for sake of sport.
Pressing someone against cage to get takedown is anti sport. Not even realistic in real world you would have perfect cage you could leverage a takedown with.

Once on ground wrestlers have all the advantage you cant heal kick them on back you can’t knee them in head if there side control you can’t kick them in face if they posture up to blast your head in

How about give the guys defending a takedown one thing standing hits cage restart takedowns have to be in ring if they are laying down against cage ok but standing cage takedowns gotta end

Again there taking real world what happens to fights out of there with lack of attacks from back on ground.

UFC is.flat out unwatchable with absolutely zero cage breakups they used to not let that shit go

Now you bust a few takedowns they just chain chain chain

UFC used to do so us a favor and.let wrestlers beat each other before they fought a striker

I disagree with this . But I do feel there should be a set time to where you have to take the guy down in or it’s restarted . Cage work is very much apart of the sport and it’s a skill in itself . I do agree that some of the refs let it go on for far to long which can be boring .

A fight should be restarted for inactivity in any position. But breaking it up as soon as they touch the cage is silly.

Absolutely no. Walking a fighter back to the cage gives a significant advantage and is part of your ability as a fighter to overcome your opponent.

This is why I think the ring is superior for entertaining fights.

While we’re add it, a couple other problems with the UFC are their shitty glove design allowing for eye pokes damn near every fight.

And the fighter entrances are lame af and not a spectacle.

A prolonged stalemate should be broken up regardless of the position, but fighting off the cage is integral to the sport.

Just allow soccer kicks to downed opponents and north south knees. Pretty much just incorporate Prides old rule system. I really like pride having a 10 minute first round as well.

Pride-style ring ropes on an octagon shaped ring would be better. Also a much better fan experience from a visibility standpoint. Cage is too easy to weaponize. In a ring you only have to worry about the corners as it’s much easier to spin off taught ropes vs a cage that gives. Yeah you’ll occasionally have guys go through, but it’s worth it, plus 5-6 ropes really means minimal space between.
