After this fight it proves that this had a significant impact....BJ would lose 9 out 10 with GSP....and I say this seriously, Kenny Florian and the 'Nightmare' will challenge him strongly....I'm not so sure he will beat thnose guys.

I am very confident Diego woud beat BJ -- more aggressive, more varied standup with more power; comparable chin; more aggressive takedowns and superior MMA ground game; vastly better cardio; more heart.



Florian has a good chance as well.

But GSP's mental game is much stronger now. He gets more and more confident as the fight goes on.

Diego could be a bad matchup for BJ in a 5rounder.dude doesnt get tired.but Diego doesnt have the striking and takedowns like GSP.i think BJ via sprawl and brawl.

 BJ would lose a brawl as well, that's my whole point. Diego has KO'd two very big welterweights. BJ has never wobbled anyone above 155.



Also, has BJ ever stopped a takedown after the first round?

i honestly think Diego will be the new king at LW. he's just got the right skill set. and he will have insanely exciting fights down there. can you imagine him vs Tyson Griffin? holy crap! or vs Guida? awesome fights down there. even him vs Sherk would be sick. i can't wait to see him at LW!!

BJ may not have "KO" power but he does have bludgeoning power. People's faces looked ripped up.

We were having this same conversation last night. So many good match ups for him there and he will actually be one of the bigger guys with the longest reach. They are all in trouble.
