Flannerz -sacredhate - Fitch, hang in there. I haven't seen BJ get that badly mauled by anyone...not ever the guy who took his belt from him. Next time maul him for all 3 rounds and the fight will be stopped before 15 minutes.

nope...Penn's face looked worse after Fitch than right after GSP fight from what I can recall. And Frankie dominated him all over the cage but i don't remember him being really damaged in that fight either.
Jon, I'm a big fan, but a draw was the right score for that fight (BJ won rds 1 and 2 10-9, you won rd 3 10-8)

I was very surprised with the way BJ fought. I did have you winning the fight though. Keep hanging in there, fitch. I've always been interested in you fighting Jake Shields. Now that he's in the UFC, it's got to happen.
Let's keep some respect for a great fighter, guys. Props to both BJ and JF.
This is fighter bashing to the max. Fitch your great, you really dominted BJ in that third. I was glad to see you really execute your gameplan.
Fitch is a great fighter but no way in my opinion this wasn't a draw, and rightly so. BJ won the first two rounds, you were in a dominant and scoring position for the third but there was no real risk to BJ. Good call by the judges.

Respect for Mr. Fitch is due no matter your opinion. I honestly thought that after round 3 the judges would give it that way, but I can see how a draw could happen.

Close fight either way. A draw is pretty fair as well.
WWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWW -Ornoku - You can say you won whatever round you want, the bottom line is the fight was very close and it could have gone either way. In that last round you showed no desperation to finish BJ. You were content to ride it out and throw punches that weren't near full power, you had him down pretty well but weren't trying to improve position or finish. When will you realize that sometimes you gotta go for it, I thought you were being very busy on the ground but with no attempt to put BJ out at all. It's hard to be sympathetic when it was all in your hands, and you let it slip away to the judges again with such a dominant position in the last round.

Fitch won the fight, but it was close.
This thread is a great example of what's wrong with the site. A UFC contender posts after a fight, the thread's full of kids or attention starved fuckups trolling.
I thought a draw was fair by the way, BJ got the first, did just enough to arguably take the second, Fitch dominated the third.
I think that you won rounds two and three too. Round one was close but I think it could have went to BJ for having such a dominant and threatening position for a long while.
Round two (best I can remember):
5:00-4:00 Fitch scores takedown works to try and stay on top
4:00-2:30 Cage fighting, Fitch working for takedowns BJ defending well
2:30-1:30 Penn scores takedown, secures back
1:30-0:00 Fitch spins to guard, lands moderate strikes
I thought that Fitch controled most of the second round, and won the round, but it was close.
The third was all Fitch.
All due respect, there is no way rd 1 was a draw.
