Masvidal has always had a cult following but he KO over Till & his post fight scuffle with Edwards, he blew up. That was his 1st win in 3 fights too. Then after his KO against Askren he went into the most popular fighter in the UFC.
If Conor comes back & gets stopped by a fringe top 10 guy, by all means write him off but until then he's still the biggest draw in the UFC.
People conveniently forget how the Diaz brothers assaulted someone on national television and that led to CBS removing all MMA programming from their networks yet he they are still the toast of the town.
