Had my First ever RNC tonight while working. I bartend On the weekends and occasionally a scrap will break out. This one actually happened at the end of the bar and ended up coming partway behind the bar. I ran down and there was about a 250lb guy on top of about a 160lb kid (I walk around at 190). Tried pulling them apart and couldn't break their grip so before i know it I've got a Rear Naked Choke on the guy and after about 10 seconds or so he went limp. Me and the other bartender carried him out to the sidewalk and made sure he was alright. He woke up and went around back to try and catch the little guy. Stupid. I'm not a fighter but a big fan and I'll have to say that it was one of the easiest fights I've ever broken up.
you're a badass dude, rear naked chokes rule. you're my hero, beer is yummy.
enjoy the stab wound
It sure beats kicking the guy in the head or smashing a bottle in his face, wich is what an untreained person would have to do to overcome size-difference. The choke is better for everyone involved.
ttt, good job
I'll be back!
Don't choke holds equal serious charges in some state?
if he got injured and prosecuted you, you would go to jail.
no he wouldnt. the guy was in the middle of committing a crime.
(assault) and he was on private property.
what makes you think you wouldn't have killed him? you don't know what kind of medical condition he/she is in?
if i see a fight I just stand and watch. or if i see a kid gets his leg broken from a bike fall I'll also not bud in. in USA everyone gets sued for nothing, i've learn my lessons from reading the news.
here in DM a bouncer used a sleeper hold to drag a client outside ended up killing him. bouncer got murder and the buisness got shut down.
Unfortunately, it's part of the business, plus the little guy on the bottom was a friend although I didn't realize that until I was trying to pull the bigger guy off of him. As for his medical condition you're right, I didn't know what his was but the way I figure, if he's on top of someone beating the crap out of them he's healthy enough.
do what u gotta do, should of went for a soccer kick imo...the cops usually side with the bouncers...
Lol @ the soccer kick! Wasn't really room as they were on the ground between the bar and a rail. Honestly we never try to hurt anyone just to get the people out so no bystanders get hurt. We don't have bouncers so when something happens we're responsible. And we do have a really good relationship with the local police.
"...and after about 10 seconds or so he went limp."
You should actually train so you can get that down to about 3 Seconds.
