First the leg jab now no 10-8?

What is wrong with our sport?  FIrst Diaz outstrikes Condit to the head and body, wins the grappling, is more aggressive and loses to the "leg jab" yes a leg jab????  Fightmetric scored some good power kicks for Condit but gave him credit for leg jabs too, yes LEG JABS??  That was the most pathetic "win" ever.  You get beat up and out grappled and stalked but u win cause of 50 leg jabs? Its clear that there is bias against Diaz so whatever, but now Diego outlands Ellenberger like 100 to 11 in rd 3 and doesnt get a 10-8 rd??  In any sport ive been around 100-11 is an ASS whooping.  all you crybabies are gonna come on here and whine about short time or takedowns ets, but one guy got punched 100 TIMES and one got punched 11 TIMES in rd 3.  thats at least a 10-8 rd.  100 to 11!!  Numbers dont lie but our judges clearly do.  and this forum is so sad because there are people on here who think Condit won by running away "leg jabs" and getting punched 100 times to 11 isnt a 10-8!!  I literally cant wait to see your idiotic responses.........

 Good points OP.

there should be more 10-8 and 10-7 rounds imo.

you shouldnt get the same score for a close round as you do for a decisive round

People who see leg jab and buy into it, are IMO retards, and dont realize they are reading stats made by retards. No such thing as a "leg jab".

By 100 to 11 did you mean 45-20?

http://blog.fightmetric.com/2012/02/ellenberger-vs-sanchez-official-ufc.html

Fightmetric actually had the 1st and 2nd round as bigger wins for Ellenberger than the 3rd round for Sanchez.

 rick is not slick

Lmao i read 3/4 of the first line of the OP's thread and then read the first line of NarlyPersianDude's post and i agreed!

Weak sauce SikRick!!

It should have also been 5 rounds.

I was glad there were some 10-8s in Dillashaw vs Watson, could have been a 10-7 in there though.

 ellenberger landed 371 strikes

diego landed 175.

another failure thread.

oh and most of what diego landed was "head jab"

lol

i thought this would be about the 1st round of a train/markes...10-8 simpson imo...

NarlyPersianDude - Stupidest thread I have read in a long time, makes no sense and lol at the op, so the op saw the kicks Condit landed to Diaz's legs, but the op missed the many times Diaz got kicked in the head, or elbowed in the head, or punched to the body or punched to the head, dumb dumb dumb. Is op trolling or that ignorant, either way not good.

Last round was not a 10-8 by any stretch of the imagination. Phone Post

Agreed. Right now, Anderson Silva beating on a mannequin for 5:00 wouldn't get a 10-7.

SikRick has abandoned thread in shame.

TheSaver - Reading that killed brain cells. WTF is a leg jab? How is Elleberger/Sanchez related at all to Diaz/Condit?

The only way it's related is that he's a mad Diaz and Sanchez fan trying to make himself sound intelligent by arguing with the fight results since the fight didn't go the way he wanted.

29-28 Jake, 49-46 Condit.

that was a 10-8 round. they need to change shit up.

and Diaz won too, but whatever.

you are a faggot

Tw has a point just like Carlos fighting style. Phone Post

Leg Kicks end fights. 60+ of them would stop anyone. Diaz is a toothpick with no defense to the legkick. He was barely hurt after absorbing 60+ legkicks. i.e. they weren't leg kicks. more like leg touches or leg nudges. I guess you coule call them leg jabs but that implies power. leg slaps? leg tickles?

Agreed. Instead of 10-9's being over 95% of rounds, 10-9's should be the case when rounds are close, but one fighter is slightly ahead. 10-8's should be for a round where there is a clear victor, and 10-7's should be the old 10-8. That way, if one fighter barely eeked out 2 rounds, but got decimated in the 3rd, you would give the fight who dominated that round, since looking at the fight as a whole, that is the conclusion you would arrive at anyway. True, it leads to more draws, but I'd rather have draws than wrong decisions. Phone Post
