I was carrying a heavy piece of network gear and it slipped a bit and sliced open my arm. Nothing serious, not a lot of blood. I was going to skip going to the hospital but when i looked at it again i saw it was pretty deep. The nurse that was cleaning it out was telling me that it looked like a knife wound and then pointed out another quarter inch to the right and it would have sliced open a vein!
I am just surprised it has taken me this long to get stitches. Ya'll must have some good stitches stories. Mine is lame but I'm telling chicks I saved a family in Kalihi from a machete wielding maniac.

I was teaching my daughter in the woods how to use a multitool and prep kindling and make fire.....she closed the saw on her finger cutting 2/3 through the tip.
I flushed it and hit it with antiseptic from my med kit then bandaged it over top so it would close and monitored for infection. Coiple of days and it was healing nicely. Barely any scar now...grandparents were pissed! It was hard not to lol at the time, if you can imagine me trying to be all soothing and caring :p

i'm falling apart friends...i was experiencing pain in my abdomen and back and got a ct scan. The results revealed hernia and a spot on my kidney that will need further investigation with an ultrasound. could this be the end? the quicker the better!
God sent you a hernia so that you could discover the spot on your kidney in time.
