I'm trying to decide if this is all political theater or that these folks actually belive this.

I understand it rallies the democratic base, but I don't think anybody is buying the narrative that gun control efforts that US citizens would actually accept would do anything to curb mass shootings or terrorism.

We aren't going to outlaw rifles, shotguns, or pistols. We will still have guns.
