thesalfordmongoose - Does anybody else have share my problem of forgetting bjj techniques when sparring? It's really slowing my progress. I thought about writing them down after class? <img src="/images/phone/apple.png" alt="Phone Post" border="0" style="vertical-align:middle;"/>
I abondoned the hook sweep and the tomonage sweep in 2001 or 2002. They sat on shelf collecting dust until 2009 for unkown reasons. Recently I just discover the knee bar and foot lock! Yeah.. where have they been? Box choke? I just forget to do it 95% of the time.

Just googled it, looks interesting. Any side effects?
Honestly I don´t try to rememeber anything while rolling. I try to be completly without any thoughts only feeling and reacting.
While learning and training certain moves it is time to learn but while rolling the mind should not be occupied with thoughts about techniques.....
Happens often with me, frustrates the hell out of me.

D'oh! that, obviously, should read 30%, as you've deduced.
Thanks for the props though ;)
