In the midst of my random biohacking adventures I realized I hadn't made a BPC in a long time. First time I actually bought his brand of coffee to make it and I like it. That said, last two days it feels like I drank 3 cups instead of one. Anyone still drink it on the regular? Yes I know I'm using coconut oil instead of MCT.
What the heck is bio hacking and what is the difference between regular coffee and this bulletproof brand?
You've never made a bulletproof? Huge mental boost, energy and works well with intermittent fasting. Caffeine also allows cholesterol to pass through blood brain barrier.

You might have it backwards. It prevents cholesterol from passing through the BBB, helping to protect against alzheimer's.
Fat makes caffeine absorb better – After scouring the internet, I couldn’t find any scientific journals to validate the claim. The principle is that fats combine with caffeine to help cross the blood-brain barrier more effectively and acts more powerfully. Whether this is true is up for debate, but it is a similar principle that is used for weed brownies, mushroom chocolates etc.

The purported difference between the actual "brand" of beans and others is that somehow he has a super-duper purification process that removes all mold from the beans. He makes the argument that 'normal' beans are bad because they are infested with mold.
As for the other two components that get added for the "brain boost":
- MCT Oil... he shills his own special oil ('XCT' or something), that is supposedly cleaner that others - apparently there are something like 8 different varieties of MCT...
- Butter... he actually shills using grass-fed ghee rather than butter... of course he also has his own super duper version
