Former NBA center Darko Milicic made his kickboxing debut Thursday night in Serbia. The 7-footer, who was the second overall draft pick in 2003, lost to Radovan Radojcic in the second round of their exhibition fight via doctor's stoppage after suffering a cut on his left leg.
"The next time, it will be better," Milicic said [translated by The Detroit News]. "I'm invincible."
Milicic, 29, last played in the NBA two seasons ago.

I think you just have to recognize talent. Do you think an NBA athlete, IN HIS PRIME, who is 7 foot tall, will have the same learning cure, as a 5'10 average Joe.
Darko Milicic is an immense , A level athlete. He will be scare

He was drafted 2nd in the NBA draft, back when you got huge money.
He recently signed a 20 million dollar deal for the last 4 seasons of his career.
He is the youngest to ever play in the NBA Finals (and will be) and has a NBA Championship ring.
Now with zero financial reasoning, he wants to try kickboxing.
Dude is way wealthier than CM Punk with zero need to try anything and I respect the hell out of him.
I hope to be as big a failure as Darko Milicic in life.
was a talented player he had some good years towards the end of his career and he could clearly still play in the league only reason he is a bust is because who was drafted after him
