Lineker eventually made weight for the McCall fight and is ostensibly still a flyweight so he certainly should be able to do it. It's not like the fight is this weekend, he has 3 weeks to cut down.
I don't think Cariaso is a very big step down considering he's coming off a title shot and a win over an excellent young fighter in Smolka.
If we don't get either of those 2 guys I'm guessing it's gonna be a much bigger step down.
I would hope for lineker, but he struggles making weight with a full camp. Yea Cariaso does have more name recognition now after his title fight. So that wouldnt be a bad rematch.
