Wrong. Heavyweight is shallow, he didn’t deserve an immediate rematch. He was handily beat. And he lost to Derrick Lewis after as well. He can’t just fight stipe every time. He will also get beat every time.
He’s an egotistical person, high on himself, just getting by with his power and athleticism. There has been absolutely no evidence of ANY improvement in his game. He’s cleaning out his division again besides stipe and Dc who is now retired. His time will come soon again. He and everyone seem to forget he was dominated by stipe and beat by Lewis.

I just can't get on the Stipe train. Idk what it is. I was going for DC in each fight. The pandemic/ I'm a firefighter thing rubbed me wrong. Whether I was right to feel that way is to be determined. There should be a clause for every champ to defend 2 times per year minimum.

A year if there’s a legit injury, but no longer, it’s ridiculous how little guys like Stipe & Khabib fight

Ngannou lost against Stipe and had this turd with Lewis, so he’s not blameless.
But now it’s him for the title shot but if he wants, you know, money, he has to fight a lower tiered guy and risk losing his shot. So it sucks for him for sure. Inactive fighters create a bottleneck.
