Not a good move. Francis doesn't need to learn to punch, he needs to learn to grapple. Teddy will be trying to get Francis' footwork right, but it's much too late in life for that. One thing Francis has going for him is his power from unorthadox angles. This reminds me of when Razor Ruddock fought Lennox Lewis and they convinced him to jab to the belly and he got knocked out for it.

I’m sure he’s practicing his wrestling too. He’s a fighter he will be practicing all the arts I’m sure. Francis seems hungry and ready to be the best, his punching power is scary but can be wild. Working with teddy is a great move in my opinion, if he can get Francis throwing sharp punches with proper foot work ngannou is going to be seriously dangerous.

True, I just watched this fight and Ngannou punches like a very unskilled tough man contest brawler. Chin straight up and just winging punches. He has crazy power so he can get away with it. I remember Ray Longo saying that if hvwt was as deep as Ltwt, that a guy like Ngannou wouldn’t even make it to the regional scene.

Who says he's working exclusively with Teddy Atlas? He may also have great wrestling coaches that he is working with, but why shouldn't he always try to improve every facet of his game?
