who wants to see this fight??
I don't really care for Frank Shamrock the person, but the fighter, I have mad respect for. In terms of showing up and doing his job, he has always been a professional. He has always showed up in shape, ready to fight and looking for the finish. He has never been boring and out of all the old school fighters coming out of the woodwork, he's the youngest and physically, he's probably the only old schooler that just may have a chance to climb to the top again, if he even cares to. Now, if he would ever fight for the UFC and if the UFC would ever have him, who knows. Hughes will probably never fight for any other fight organization other than the UFC. I for one, having followed the UFC since UFC #1, would have an interest in F. Shamrock vs. Hughes. Of course, only after Frank wins several big wins.
I said plenty of good things about Frank and you focus on the one part that wasn't gleaming? Well, since you ask, I'll just mention ONE thing...at the particular Strikeforce, which I attended, that they announced the whole Shamrock vs. Gracie fight, he really made an ass of himself by throwing something at Ceaser Gracie in front of the entire audience. Now, I don't think much of Ceaser Gracie, especially since he showed up to fight Frank looking like he's never walked into a gym, but throwing something at someone is just a bully tactic. That type of bullshit, when done for the public to see is open for judgement. There's your answer. Hope you're happy.
Good story. Too bad it's not true. I was at the Strike Force show and no such thing happened.
