Seeing as Babalu has been treated disgracefully,
EliteXC has a chance to put on a BIG fight.
Lets get behind this.

Great matchup, a good statement for Frank and a good chance for Babalu. All in all it was a terrible decision to boot Babalu from the UFC though.
Frank won't have the least interest in this fight, you may as well ask him to fight Fedor, Bop Sapp, or Farmer Burns' ghost. Babalu has neither a huge name nor specific weaknesses for Frank to exploit. Plus Frank walks at 190-195, Babalu at about 220.
It'd be a good statement if Shamrock wants to show he aint afraid to fight stiff competition. I'm not sure he really wants to but he did call Baroni a tune-up fight and Baroni is a pretty dangerous opponent. Who knows?
Yep, would be a great next fight for Shamrock.
Frank would be smart to avoid this fight. A fight with Cung Le would make the most money for him anyway.
"he did call Baroni a tune-up fight and Baroni is a pretty dangerous opponent"
yep, "tune-up" for Cung Le, Ken, or a rematch with Renzo. Frank has been pretty clear about his fighting plans.
LOL...like shamrock would ever agree to fight babalu
Isn't there a 20 pound weight difference?
Nice idea, but wrong weight classes.
Elvis
Wrongweight class, but I always thought Babalu can drop to 185.
That's where I'd like to see this fight at.
Exactly, Babalu can drop the weight.
Catchweight even
Well Frank beat Tito at 205 didn't he?
babalu needs to go to another org and become the champion, market himself where the ufc has no choice but to re-sign him, like tito did
"Well Frank beat Tito at 205 didn't he?"
I think it was the old under 200 MW division.
I generally don't say this, but with thos to we need old school vale tudo rules.
Frank beat Tito at -199. By fight time, Frank weighed about 195, Tito 216. It's irrelevant anyway, because back then there was no 185-pound division. There is no reason for Frank to fight much bigger guys nowadays, unless it has huge marketing potential like a fight with Ken. Babalu sure as hell does not...
"Great matchup, a good statement for Frank and a good chance for Babalu."
You have made a match with the correct.
Of course, Frank wants only to fight "big names". So...
But it is indeed a match I'd pay to see.
I'd pay to see this one.
