Edgar used some pretty nice moves in there tonight to trick the judges into thinking he was actually doing damage to grey. Edgar honestly looks like he puts zero power into his punches and just weaves in tap tap to make it look nice and then hes out. Judges see Edgar winning with these little punches and give him the fight. I felt like i was watching a five round sparring match.
And he's so fast he managed to run over to Gray and apply make up inbetween rounds.

I like the part where Frankie punched him and his knees buckled or hit him so that he almost turned 180 degrees from those zero damage punches. It was very convincing acting.

Thats funny, i coulda swore that Nick Diaz has stopped quite a few of his most recent opponents with striking. If i'm wrong about that though...maybe you could watch some of Nick Diaz's fights and let us know?

He rarely sits down on his punches, so it's gonna be rare for him to actually hurt an opponent. He did it a few times in the fight, but for the most part, it was just pitter patter shots and get out of the way.

Yeah Diaz knocked out frank shamrock Thomas Denny and Marius something or other. Not saying Edgar could beat Diaz, but he beat bj Penn twice Tyson griffin and came back from getting rocked twice to draw a decision of a 5 round fight.

Gray looked more beat up to me. Frankie has the best boxing skills and footwork in mma. Oh and his takedowns are good and his takedown defense looked sharp. Not everyone can just knock a guy out with one punch. What looks worse is that gray threw the kitchen sink at Edgar and couldnt finish. And his wrestling was non existent
