how do I freeze frame with final cut...as in some footage is folling then it freezes on a certain frame so I can have motion graphics run accross it
shift + N. but you have to freeze the frame in the viewer, not the timeline. so basically, go to the timeline, hit F for matchframe. then hit shift + N and it will give you a freezeframe of where the playhead in the viewer is. then u can insert it into the sequence.
