i've personally been in contact with Kathy Dunbar. Nice lady who also happens to be in a wheelchair. tragic if her son ends up in one too. Please keep this article alive to raise awareness. She also claims that Jeff is Rashad Evans Cousin, but i couldn't get Rashad to confirm or deny this directly. here are those details if anyone wants to do some digging. we wont post it on the site till it has been confirmed.

I extend my deepest thoughts and well wishes.
We need to kind of re-address moves like this, some of them really scare me. I don't like the thought of them being performed in all kinds of amateur shows across the continent when governments and athletic commissions only grudgingly, slowly, and lazily oversee MMA.
We should be past whether or not MMA conforms to their sensibilities. Regulation and enforcement need to be taken seriously regardless. It is not that regulation will fix every incident or necessarily could have prevented this one. Only that you get better through constant scrutiny and really looking at incidents such as this. You kind of need willing and competent officials to do that.

I do wish him all the best, and my wish is he recovers 100%, well at least recover his LIMBS. Don't want to be a dick here, but I personally would rather be dead than paralyzed from the neck down.

Agreed. I'd miss my legs but you can live a meaningful life still... though the plumbing has indeed to keep working too. Otherwise, screw that.
I'm glad he can move his arms. At first I thought he was fully paralyzed.
everyone thought so too. But His mom Kathy wanted to get the real situation known. Just happy we were there to tell her story in her own words. im still baffled at their claim to be related to Rashad Evans. if true, it would put this story in the national news eye.
