FRUSTRATING

and while I am struggling to create financial security through buying and paying off a house soon as possible, saving and investing(like the 5 Stock Portfolio thread) and battling the usual life obstacles......this:

"World likely to have 11 trillionaires within two generations: Credit Suisse"-----

http://blogs.marketwatch.com/thetell/2013/10/09/world-likely-to-have-11-trillionaires-within-two-generations-credit-suisse/

am I wrong to feel that is just TOO MUCH wealth for one person/family/group of people to share while so many people in the world are struggling to just pay the bills or worse?

I know a lot of people who struggle do so through poor life choices.....BUT did someone who inherits such wealth do so through 'good life choices'? Is it even possible for one man/woman to achieve trillions without inheriting some serious wealth to begin with?

I mean, a lot of it has to do with the genetic anway, the 'lucky sperm club', like if you are born to the right family/social-class then you are a product of that social culture(private schools, good genetic, social connections etc.) and it had nothing to do with having worked hard for that.......just the luck of inheriting the right social class by birth is a non-achievement.

Is it right that one person/family to have trillions?

You buy the masks & duct tape, I'll bring the guns.

Let's do this! Phone Post

You would begrudge someone for being born into a wealthy family? That's life, some are luckier than others. It's like begrudging someone for being better looking than you.

Also, I find it difficult to believe the premise of the article. The richest person in the world is sitting on about $65 billion, which is an order of magnitude removed from a trillion. He's nine hundred thirty-five billion away from a trillion.

no, not begrudging......but BILLIIONS and TRILLIONS even anything past 5 million starts getting ridiculous. I'm not proposing socialism but must there always be such extremes? When one person/family has trillions and you got good people providing a good service having a difficult time of it....well, at what point do you start to question and say maybe this is ridiculous?

Well, not 'begrudging' but not cheerleading either, because cheering the 'royals' just seems 'un-American' ;) I think it's great they have the opportunity they do and I'm trying to create a similar thing......but at what point is it too much?

again, I do not think it has to be so extreme and have no problem with people passing on a bit of what they worked so hard to achieve for themeselves and their future generations....but here is something to ponder:

"Fond of saying "The man who dies rich, dies disgraced," Carnegie amassed a fortune, then gave it away. Millions of dollars went to support education, a pension plan for teachers, and the cause of world peace. Most famous as a benefactor of libraries, he funded nearly 3,000 around the world. He preached the obligation of the wealthy to return their money to the societies where they made it"-----

We should take their money and hand it out to lazy fucks who don't want to do anything but complain.

(not saying thats you op)

Theres enough money in the world for people who want to go get it.

I will never begrudge another man his BIG WIN BIG WIN. Phone Post

anyone who has followed my postings would see that I have endeavored to teach, help, and show by example how the common man can achieve financial and life security.

Yes, I have been over-the-top in my presentation but how else could I get people's attention?

I was not born of wealth and I have faced great difficulties and fortunately being wired the way I am, through responsible living I am well on my way to achieving financial security and it was my desire to freely share this information with others so that they too may BIG WIN if possible ;)

really, then in those pictures are they ALWAYS smiling.....BIG SMILES.....REALLY BIG HAPPY SMILES.......

I'm not buying into the 'at least you weren't born Africa' guilt trip anymore.

Americans have a lot of stress and problems other people do not have.

I actually read that some of those people in the 'third world' are actually happier. Then they come to the USA and they are miserable. But modern society is like a drug, you become addicted.

I think about my ancestors......spending the days hunting in pristine forests, fishing and swimming in unpolluted waters....yeah, that doesn't sound so miserable....but that knowledge was lost....I barely speak the language.....and now I am addicted to modern life and all it's stresses and I'm supposed to feel guilty?
