Was playing the 2/5 at the charity casino in town. Hand I played here was against a girl I have played a lot against. She is quite the loose, wild player and about a half hour before this hand I had missed a flush draw, had a good idea where she was at in the hand and bluffed her by betting 2x the pot on the river and showed. Not a very profitable play in the long run as it has to work two out of three times for me to break even. But I think the metagame implications set this hand up:
We both had big stacks. I was having a very good session and had about 1200 in front of me and she was running very well and had 1100 in front of her.
3 players limp in for 5 dollars I complete from SB with Ac5c and she makes it 30 dollars to go (not nearly enough with that many limpers).
All four limpers call so I call.
POT: 150
Flop: Ah 5s 3s
Hero: I check
Girl: She bets 50 dollars and everyone folds
Hero: I raise to 175
Girl: Calls
Pot: 525
Turn: 5d
Hero: I bet 225
Girl: Calls
Pot: 975
River: Ks
Hero: I shove all in for the rest of my stack like 700. I figured she had a hand like AQ AK or a flush draw, preferably an ace with a flush draw. Was hoping she hit her flush or two pair with AK and would pay.

Girls: She calls with AJ offsuit...
Crazy call. Wish it always came that easy....
She called you down with just a pair?
What a fucking dumbass. You showed strength the whole time.
Even if she thought it was a bluff she had 6 people in the hand through the flop. Not good odds.
DaveFu - Villain had a soul read and went with it! Your 3 barrel value bluffs are no match sir!
Yeah, she went for it, that is for sure, lol. She somehow wins the majority of the time....not really sure how b/c she plays soooo wild. Just pushin those old guys out of pots all day...
Showing her the bluff earlier is what made her call off $1100 with one pair. She probably thought you were trying to bully her and she decided to take a stand as long as she had top pair. Also, w AJ and the board paired, best case scenario in her mind was that you had an A like her and the pot gets chopped. Total tilt call by her....It'll make her a better player in the future.

Yeah, I think so too. She is a wild one. About two weeks later we were playing a 1/2 home game. She raised UTG to 10, I 3 bet to 35 with JJ and she jammed all-in. I thought for awhile and folded and she showed 1010.
I will pry be playing with her tonight, hopefully she will have a big stack.
Jesus, I wish "winning players" here played like that.
Realistically the only problem with that hand is your future perception on her that she is willing to do this.. I'd be careful that it doesn't trap you into her image being looser than it really is.
These spots are why live poker is so profitable imo, it's so much easier to get an edge. Good luck finding somebody that bad with that much money infront of them online.

Too funny. She will be looking to get into big pots with you until she finally gets lucky. When I was a full time player, I used to come across people like this all the time. You beat them in a big pot and they somehow feel like they need to get their money back specifically from you.
DaveFu - I predict that Op used 20 of her own money to get a bj from her.
Hahaha, that is actually hilarious that you said that. We played last night till 2am, I busted her out and she said we could go play heads up at her place....she is 8 mo pregnant with her 3rd kid, no thanks. She always gets rides home from the older dudes...something is def going on there. A home game also got robbed about a year and a half ago. There are rumors she set up it up...This place seems pretty secure though, locked highrise apt....Played 5 big pots vs her last night: I raised 4x with KK she shipped AQ (she was fairly short, but not too short) ran it twice she binked an Ace on both flops. She button straddled I raised 5x with QQ she shipped AQ again for about the same I called she had AQ again. We ran it 3 times and I won all 3.4 limpers I limp button with ks 3s. flop 10s 6s 3h she bets 1/3 pot, I call. Turn is 10 she checks I check. River is A. She bets the pot I snap call she mucks. On the river, she always seems to go half potish when looking for value and usually bets her bluffs pretty large She raised from cut off I 3 bet from small blind to 45 with 99Flop A A 3, I elect to not c bet and check. she fires 30 I call.turn: AI check, she checksRiver: KFrom playing with her before, I did not feel she had a higher PP than me as I think she would have 4 bet all in. Her small lead on flop puts an ace in her range, but the turn check makes me think no ace. I figured there was a good chance she had a smaller PP, but thought two big cards like KQ, KJs was also possible, but not likely. An ace is also in my range so if she did hit a king she is only going to call the river. Decided to fire a smallish blocker/thin value bet. I fired 40 into the pot and she called with 88.Will pry be playing 2/5 with her at charity casino again this Friday. Hopefully I can get some more hands vs her like I did yesterday.
I reposted b/c I have no clue why it posted it as one paragraph...wtf....Hahaha, that is actually hilarious that you said that.
