Funny how everyone is ignoring the

weight advantage...

I'm sure everyone expected Floyd to come in at least in the 150's. Nope, he weighs in even under that, at 149lbs. While we all know Conor is cutting weight to put weight back on.

Floyd has actually given Conor many advantages. You can argue that Floyd has fought the majority of the time in 8oz gloves, but the fact is he isn't used to fighting at 154lbs with gloves that small at all, and he came in way below the weight limit, which offers no advantage other than speed. Conor also received smaller gloves, so he can be just as fast or faster, and he is bigger so he can throw the gloves around easier and the weight works to his advantage.

He's fighting in gloves that weigh 2x as much as he's used to, could we say that Conor's MMA opponents wouldn't have gotten knocked out if those fights were in 8oz boxing gloves for 12 rounds? No they probably  still would have gotten knocked out eventually, lol. So ..

The point I'm making is that Conor has 0 excuses, and any fans have 0 excuses for him. He's banking on his size and weight advantage, talking it up, saying how little Floyd is, like he did with Jose Aldo, who Floyd isn't much bigger than. If he loses, and especially in devastating fashion, it really hurts his credibility. Conor's big as hell and a world champ in 2 different weight classes in the UFC, no one is expecting him to get walked down, he says himself he will not back up during the fight.

When Floyd wins, he really is TBE and GOAT. To beat the competition he has, and also mix it up and school a top P4P UFC World Champion in 2 different weight classes will be the cherry on top of his legacy. STOP MAKING EXCUSES FOR CONOR, HE HAS NONE IF HE LOSES HE JUST HAS TO MAN UP AND TRY TO GET THE JOB DONE. IF HE LOSES IT MAKES HIM LOOK BAD.

It’s all about the gas tank IMO. Conor’s never really had to chase anyone down in MMA, has he? The only time I remember Conor in a cat and mouse type fight was when he was running from Nate in the rematch.

In both Diaz fights, Conor was losing steam in the second while trying to knock (as Conor calls him) the Terminator’s head off.

Floyd happens to be one of, if not the greatest defensive boxers ever. Conor calling the fight inside of four rounds instead of a brazen first round prediction serves to prove he, himself knows that his arms will be heavy by the end of the third. He knows that he can’t box Floyd, he has to step on it early and he has to make it dirty.

This isn’t going to be a Rocky tribute with a strong back and forth until the final bell. If Conor doesn’t stop Floyd before the fourth, he will either quit on his stool, or be TKO’ed. Given that Conor is a proven panic wrestler, I don’t expect this fight to go to decision.

There's a part of me that feels Floyd did cut a little bit of water weight just to come in lighter and have everybody talking about it.
