I think hes a scumbag but I dont think hes anywhere near the level of scumbag that Bitar is. I think Lederer and the gang stuck their heads in the sand and conveniently assumed that there were sufficient funds to cover the players. I think Bitar knew the full extent of the situation--manufactured it to some extent--and milked it for all it was worth.
After watching it, Ray was def the worst of the lot. They were all scum.
After hearing him on the 2 2 podcast I am pretty sure he's as complicit as Ray. 
He is pretty much free of fault, it was Bitar's doing.
