After an issue with our venue that forced us to cancel our event on extremely late notice 2 weeks ago, Rob from imperial offered to let us use his gym to run a "free to compete" tourney. (Matt Mitrione stopped by which was freaking cool, the guy a literally a horse)
We ran that tourney this afternoon and it was by far the most fun tournament I have ever run. We had a great turn out, some awesome matches and a ton of new competitors.
We have since worked things out with our venue in Davie and will be running our next tourney there on April 7th.
