just got ff the phone with Travis and he took out Brown in the 2nd by TKO after he dropped farmer with some punches and the ref jumped in.He added that Farmer had a ton of heart and gave it all.

Travis was impressive, effective striking and good takedowns. But based on the first round, I think this was an early stoppage. They had just landed on the ground and Travis was in Farmer's guard.
During the first round, Farmer had managed to escape from Travis' mount and start working a guard game.
Refs need to learn that when it is a title fight you have to let the fighters fight. Farmer was knocked down but not out.
This is one that should see a rematch.

Although I don't think the outcome would have changed, it should not have been stopped at that time IMHO. However, I understand the the referee has to make split second decisions and fighter safety is a priority.
Farmer has been offered a rematch so we'll see where it goes from there. He may want to fight a few other guys first. We look forward to getting him back in kotc, either way.
