Is it common knowledge that gang members have fully automatic weapons?
Im in Nor Cal and the gangsters around here all have or have access to fully auto weapons.
How do you fare against them with your legal California weapons?
Most of them shoot so bad they couldn't hit the ground. So if you can even shoot a little bit under pressure I'd say you're fine.

It's pretty easy to turn many semi-autos into fully automatic firearms.
AK's are probably the easiest.

Its a tool need to eject a mag. I believe there are 2 or 3 states where you must have one installed on weapons with the ability to hold 30 or more rounds
