Gardner vs Yoshida official

If Rulon's working with Team Quest he could be a real force, even in a short amount of time.

Rulon was about to do pro wrestling anyway, so pretty much the same thing.

Hopefully Gardner will come in better shape than Matt Gharaffi (sp) who got destroyed by Ogawa.

according to DSE president Sakakibara,Gardner already started to train for new year's eve show with team Quest.

this probably won't be a work, but sometimes they don't fix the fight, they fix the fighters. pride wants to give yoshida a win over a name opponent. gardner has a big name. not giving gardner the time to beat a few cans, gain experience, and train in his new sport B4 fighting an experienced fighter like yoshida is the next best thing to fixing the fight.

quest, a pretty dominant team already, will now be stacked with a scary amount of wrestling talent. think of doing the sharkbait drill in that gym.

"Doesn't matter...2 months of training is not long enuf to teach him how to win. Maybe to avoid submissions and stall. This is MMA...Yoshida will win. Rulon can be great if he takes a year...but it's obvious he needs the money rite away..."

gardner has been offered big money by the WWE, and turned it down. i don't think he realizes how much goes into being a good MMA fighter. wrestlers have had great success, but they have done it with extensive crosstraining. it's a tremendous base to have, but there is still a lot more to learn

this match has fake fight written all over it

The big question is...how is Rulon's sub defense?

Attention all who are reading this thread:
Take a mortgage on your house, borrow money from the bank, rob someone, do whatever it takes to get a lot of money.

Then, bet it on Yoshida winning Gardner. It is 100 % guaranteed you will win. The odds probably won't be that good, but it's still free money.

And no, it's not because Yoshida's skills are good.
Hell, even calling them poor is something of an overstatement based on his comedic performances.
