I am not one of you, but the wife dragged me to his concert last night.
Amazing show.
It's a show, not a concert. Worth every penny.
If you have never....you should.
Did he play his mom song?
That stuff gets me dusty, I couldn't imagine watching it live, I would pout on an unknown strangers shoulder lol
To be perfectly honest, I wouldn't know.
He played all his old stuff, which was cool...but I only recognized about four songs and knew very few words to any of them.
He did "Turn the Page" by Seger towards the end. Said he does it every time he's in Michigan.
The guy caters to the crowd more than anyone, I would assume.
Again, not a country music fan, but I've never seen a concert like that ever. He sings his fucking guts out.
Absolutely amazing.
I am not a country fan, but do love some Garth. You are absolutely correct. He caters to his crowd and is one of the best performers of all time.
By far the best concert I've ever been too. And I've been to a lot
Did Chris Gaines open?
You came to GR and didn't tell me? I was next door to the venue all night working.......you still in town? I could get you fed and drunk for cheap.
We went to one of his opening shows in Chicago. Hands down the most fun I've had at a concert.
Garth isnt country, he is country AND he is rock n roll
-Ron White
Saw him in Charleston in February. He played for like 3 hours. It was pretty fantastic.
