i actually think that it does not look gay at all. something about getting punched in the face that is so not gay to me. i think only a stupid woman, a homo, or a in the closet homo would think it looks gay, as it has nothing to do with sex. two totally seperate worlds. sex is obviously a huge part of life, however, it is funny how some idiots try to make everything about sex even if it has nothing to do with sex.

that was possibly one of the stupidest things I've ever read, wording, subject matter...all of it. it came off as a desperate attempt to sound pretentious and snooty that failed miserably. I would think even people who have no idea what mma is would laugh at that sorry excuse for an article.
also, there have been vague associations between sex and fighting for centuries (the chinese euphemism "flowery combat" for instance)...nothing new really. these people that make a lot of noise about mma appearing sexual are fuckin bozos who should stick to watching sex and the city and drinking frappucinos...they shouldnt even be THINKING about fighting or combat sports, much less writing about them.
imo, someone associating mma with homosexuality has more to do with their personal sexuality and mentality than how fighting looks from a spectators perspective. many people see what they identify with or what they want to see (or elements thereof) in things.
