Fitch has got just as good takedowns as Sheilds, if not better. Is a black belt under Dave Camarillo. Has better stand up than Sheilds.

This. I think that if GSP can dictate where the fight against Kos takes place, which has yet to be determined, he should be able to do so against Shields. In that case, he beats him.
