I know GA has thier own commision now, and has changed some of the MMA rules (no longer ISCF I guess)  can some tell me what is up with the ammy rules in GA?

don't forget 8 oz gloves, no knees to the head (even standing), and no elbows (but they weren't allowed before).

3 min. rounds, no strikes to the head on the ground, no knees to the head standing, shinpads, 8 oz gloves, no heel hooks or neck cranks.

punches to the face on the ground hafta be legalized for amateurs

Oh, I forgot about the 10 count if a fighter is knocked down from a punch/kick.

It wasnt as bad as I thought it was going to be. I like the old rules though.

Thanks guys!  i really appreciate it.  Ill be fighting again, ammatuer MMA in GA in April, so getting a feel for it.  Been two years since Ive fought.
