Another good win for him yesterday.
Anyone reckon he is ready for Loma?

The guy is completely unlikable but he'll be a star because he'll be a guy everyone wants to see lose. I think right now Loma would still outclass him but Davis is improving rapidly and Lomachenko is no spring chicken as a fighter, he's got some mileage.

Just curious, why so unlikable? I think he's way more likable than say Broner, for example. But I guess that's a low bar.

I really like him. I like the Mayweather style heel, flashy attitudes in boxing.
Especially when they keep backing it up in the ring. I do agree on Loma though- too big and too smart at this point but I would definitely watch.
Lomachenko is staying at lightweight so Tank would have to come up to him. He's not near big enough name wise to generate the kind of money that would entice Lomachenko to do otherwise. He's a good fighter with a lot of pop for his weight class that really hasn't fought anyone yet. Future does look bright for him though.

Who is a bigger name than Davis that would realistically fight Loma? Davis is pretty well known in this day and age. I would bet more people have heard of "Tank" Davis than Mikey Garcia for example.
I love me some Loma, but he got dropped but Linares a few fights ago (then went on to stop him impressively). I think if Davis lands that same punch, Loma doesn't get back up.
Im not saying Davis would beat him, but you're underestimating his name value among casuals and maybe just how hard he hits too.
No way will Mayweather let him fight Lomachenko any time soon. In interviews he has basically laid out his plan openly to have Davis duck Loma until Loma gets old enough that he(Mayweather) thinks that Loma is no longer a threat to Davis. Then fight him for a lot of money.
